That matters because switch bounce is what causes the classic double click fault on most mice. It is a mechanical failure, and this model has no mechanism for it. Then why is my DeathAdder V2 double clicking?
Three causes account for almost all of it. Your operating system double click speed may be set slow enough that two deliberate clicks merge into one double click. A macro or binding in Razer Synapse may be sending a second click. Or the Speedflex cable may be failing at the strain relief, producing input that looks like duplicate clicks.
How do I tell a cable fault from a software one?
Run the button test and flex the cable gently where it enters the mouse body while clicking. If the extra clicks or dropouts track the cable movement, the cable is the problem. If they happen regardless of cable position, reset Synapse to defaults and check your operating system double click speed.
What is the DeathAdder V2 rated for?
